Purpose

The purpose of the IRL is:
    >   To bring together emerging adults and more seasoned men and women (who in other cultures would be honored as elders)
    >   To develop a new generation of ReGenerative leaders who go beyond sustainability
    >   To convene mentorship triads that mirror the deep truth and unique gifts of each person’s true vocation
    >   To offer practical education that develops tangible skills, and
    >   To convene cooperative enterprises that provide apprenticeships and employment

In a way that:
    >   Every individual encounters their deepest truth, without  judgment or attachment
    >   Each participant is able to bring their authenticity to a dialog process that surfaces clear seeing, and
    >   Invites a deeper wisdom and a practical know-how to show itself

In order to   
     >   Reorient our personal and collective soul to life’s true purpose    
     >   Reconnect with each other in a tangible and committed community,  and
     >   Regenerate life on the earth

We empower the generations to develop solutions that go beyond sustainability as we discover new ways of living with ourselves, each other and the earth.

Mission

We fulfill our mission through a variety of activities, including:
  • Offering transformative education and leadership training in
    Consciousness and Business and other emerging disciplines
  • Facilitating emerging adults and nascent elders to find their
    greater purpose as they encounter significant life transitions
  • Providing hands-on experience in the local food movement and
    other career areas in the emerging green economy
  • Creating a venue for passionate young adults and wise elders
    to learn and work together in community
  • Empowering the deeper levels of consciousness and the
    tangible skills necessary for personal growth, organizational development and social evolution
